How QVC Sprouts Works

The QVC Sprouts program gives an inventor with a retail ready product the opportunity to be selected and placed on the QVC website along with other inventors products for a period of two weeks. During this time QVC customers will be given the opportunity to vote on those products they would most like to see sold on QVC. This two weeks voting period allows both the inventor and QVC the opportunity to judge consumer interest in the product.

At the conclusion of the two week period, the inventor whose product generates the most consumer interest will be offered the opportunity to sell the product on the QVC website. The process will be repeated every two weeks, with QVC putting new products up for a vote and producing a featured inventor to be promoted across QVC's many customer touch-points.

The goal is to grow these QVC Sprouts over time up to and including sales presentations on QVC TV.

How Does the Product Search Work?

There are three rounds of product selection. It's as easy as 1-2-3…

  • Round 1: Following deadline of submissions, 30 finalists will be selected. If selected, QVC will invite you to provide a formal pitch of your product to a QVC Selection Panel at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas. If you're unable to attend the live pitch in person; you'll be invited to send your product directly to QVC to be considered.
  • Round 2: QVC Selection Panel will select up to six products presented from Round 1 that are believed to have the most potential to be a QVC product. If your product is selected, a representative from QVC will contact you directly.
  • Round 3: QVC customers will be provided the opportunity to vote online starting on May 8, 2015 through May 15, 2015 for their favorite products. QVC will select the top three products with the most votes. If selected, you'll have the opportunity of a lifetime to personally introduce your product on air on May 22, 2015 during QVC's program The Search for a Better Tomorrow.. Plus, if your product receives the highest number of customer votes - you will also be rewarded with the opportunity to have your product sold live on air during The Search for a Better Tomorrow.

What's the Product Search Timeline?

  • April 3, 2015: Last day to submit your product.
  • April 6–April 17, 2015: Up to 30 finalists will be notified and invited to attend the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas.

  • May 8–May 15, 2015: Up to six products selected by QVC will be voted on by QVC customers.
  • May 22, 2015: The product that receives the highest number of customer votes will be sold live on air during The Search for a Better Tomorrow.
